Studio Policies

Attendance: Students are expected to be punctual and attend all scheduled lessons. If an absence is anticipated, 24–48 hours’ notice is required. Make-up lessons may be offered depending on both teacher and student availability. If the student is unable to attend the proposed make-up time, the lesson is forfeited after the calendar month in which it was originally scheduled. Make-up lessons will also be offered in cases of illness or emergency, but after three unsuccessful attempts to reschedule the same lesson, it will be forfeited. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are not guaranteed a make-up due to limited availability. If the teacher must cancel a lesson, a make-up will be offered. All federal holidays will be observed and are factored into the studio calendar. Please note this when requesting a pay per session lesson. Payment Policies: Pay-per-lesson tuition must be paid before the start of each lesson. Payments are accepted through the studio portal (if applicable), or electronically via Zelle or Venmo. A student’s late arrival or early dismissal due to other activities does not reduce the cost of the lesson. After three consecutive no-call/no-show absences, lessons will be paused and re-evaluated unless due to extraordinary circumstances (e.g., a family emergency or unexpected financial hardship). Scheduling: Please note that paying per session does not guarantee the same day and time is still available the following time you would like to book a lesson. Please plan in advance if you would like to meet on a specific day and time, and communicate this in writing.
